Love Is The Medicine: A Living Intention

Love is the Medicine is a movement aimed at perpetuating Love through products and community-based action.  LITM is committed to leveraging it’s resources to spread Love in a variety of mediums.

What does Love is the Medicine mean? With the idea that the only two real driving forces in our consciousness are Love and Fear. Every choice we make—our thoughts, actions, and beliefs—emanates either from a place of Love or Fear. Love is what we all deeply desire for ourselves, our relationships, and in the world. While Fear and separation are at the root of much of what we call evil and suffering. It perpetuates things like unnecessary war, pollution, interpersonal conflict, and more. A great example – a knife used for heinous violence or to create a meal - it is all based in intention. Love or Fear. 

Make no mistake - Love isn't always the easy choice, and is sometimes not the "Love and light" we have come to understand Love as. Love requires us to take deep, honest account of our actions and make tough decisions. Fear can hide in the easy path.

While we may not have the specific answer to solve all the world's problems. One guiding principle holds true. Love is the Medicine. Through Love, we can seek to ‘be with’ the fear and separation rather than run from it or unnecessarily contribute to it. Perhaps, learning to Love ourselves and the world around us a little better in every moment. In turn, perhaps positive change and interactions can slowly gain more momentum throughout our existence, and more importantly for our children, our future, and our world.

We at Love is the Medicine are under no illusion that we can solely solve the world's problems. That will take consistent and collective effort. Our hope is to inspire more and more people (The Helpers) to live through actions of Love, rather than Fear, and in as many cases as we can, directly support those efforts. Our collective community will become an exponential force for movement in the direction of a more unified and peaceful existence. One we can be proud to know we left things better for our children and the world around us. It is no doubt that the world gets better every day, and we believe that is because of people with the mindset of Love for the world.
